I tried to incorporate as much of the feedback from class but the animation is still not complete. The first half is some what OK though it could still use more work. Now the second half it's completely discombobulated. I will attempt a final revision where at least the video would make sense in its entirety and some elements or ideas will be replaced, for instance the reveal at the end of the word codex like in the original, instead right after it zooms out from the cash it will reveal the sentence "stop the madness" and then the website's URL.Tuesday, October 25, 2011

FF HW4/5: 5 Part Narrative (Revised) + Storyboards
2042 : A NEW WORLD ORDER
On October 9th 2039, The “People’s Army of China” breaks through the last stronghold of the Russian army conquering the city that once was known as Moscow and eradicating one of three bastions of hope for humanity. On its path to world domination “The People’s Army” left a trail of destruction that stretched all the way to Western Europe and as far south as Central Africa. Now, the future of what is left of the free world rests on the shoulders of the American and Japanese resistance forces, the latter being of incredible importance for it is among the Japanese that the first genetically enhance embryo was achieved with abilities believed to be far superior than those of any Nano-Tech enhanced soldier up to date.
The advent of such human being signifies a new beginning for the entire world and without a doubt a significant leap in human evolution. Soon clone armies will be made from the original child in collaboration with the U.S. forces and hopefully bring to a halt the oppression of the “People’s Regime” and the creation of the “Pandora X”, a weapon one hundred thousand times more powerful than the hydrogen bomb the U.S. dropped in Nagasaki, about a hundred years earlier. It is speculated that such weapon if ever develop it is capable of eliminating the entire continental U.S. in one strike.
The definitive element in order to achieve a fully developed genetically enhanced offspring, as the Japanese scientists and engineers soon realized, was that the embryo had to be carried by a woman, a task that perhaps twenty years ago would have not been a problem before the Chinese began their dominant expansion imposing birth control policies upon the subjugated nations across the globe, among them human castration, in an effort to further their control over the population.
The task of carrying the embryo would befall on Satoko Nakashima, a young and rebellious girl who watched her entire family murdered by the “People’s Army” while the occupation of Neo Tokyo eleven years ago when she was only 10 years of age. Ever since, Satoko ran away avoiding contact with the occupying forces and joining other survivors who inhabit the intricate system of subterraneous fortifications that crawl under most of Neo Tokyo, swearing revenge against those who destroyed her world.
“The People’s Army” armed with Nano-Tech Enhanced Soldiers (or N.T.E.S.) each with well over two hundred implants, provide a steady supply of men to their forces whom are deployed throughout the globe and whose mission is to impose China’s will on the rest of the planet. Nonetheless the American and Japanese resistance forces have managed to suppress the efforts of the “People’s Army” purely because of their superior strategy and their hidden locations spread throughout many underground facilities around the globe unknown to the Chinese.
It is in the vast lands of Russia that the Chinese planned to test their first prototype of “Pandora X”. On September 16th 2040 the Chinese conduct their first live test, the results are lower than expected; the Chinese scientists and engineers start working on improvements immediately. By April 9th 2041 the Chinese in collaboration with North Korea conduct a second live test this time reaching their goal obliterating well over a quarter of Russia’s land with a mere prototype ten times smaller than what the final product would be. At the same time the Japanese managed to fly and infiltrate the highly monitored region of California where Satoko and her two-month-old baby will meet with the U.S. resistance forces and their scientists and begin the procedures for the cloning. As Satoko and her baby arrive at the U.S. base a sense of relief is palpable in the air even though the clone army would not be ready for another six months but for the first time since the Chinese imperial domination the tide could turn in favor of the resistance forces.

On its path to world domination “The People’s Army” left a trail of destruction that stretched all the way to Western Europe and as far south as Central Africa.
Now the future of what is left of the free world rests on the shoulders of American and Japanese Resistance Forces, comprise of Nano-Tech Enhanced Soldiers each with well over two hundred implants whom are deployed throughout the globe and whose mission is to put an end to the oppression of “The People’s Regime and bring to a halt the creation of the “Pandora X”, a weapon one hundred thousand times more powerful than the hydrogen bomb the U.S. dropped in Nagasaki, Japan about a hundred years earlier putting an end to World War II. The secret component of the allege weapon lies in the contents of the Arc of The Covenant, a relic long sought by many individuals since ancient times, later on found by a Chinese Military Expedition in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. It is commonly known that the Arc contains the tablets on which God wrote the Ten Commandments and Moses brought to his people and eventually getting lost over the many Centuries. Also we’ve been told that the energy emanating from the tablets it is so powerful that for most humans is fatal a few seconds after coming in contact. Creating the need for the Arc, to house the tablets and protect humans while in close proximities.
In reality what lies inside the arch is the ultimate source of power and knowledge, a set of formulas and or instructions that simultaneously are the energy source. Speculated to be the same knowledge and technology that allowed ancient civilizations to control the elements and the subtle energies within the planet left behind by a supreme alien race that once dominated the planet. The same power that is behind the ancients’ mastery of megalithic Architecture/ and Art to unparallel levels impossible to emulate even with the technology of today.
“The People’s Army” armed with Nano-Tech as well but with a lag of twenty years behind in comparison to those of the American and Japanese implants. Nonetheless they have managed to suppress the efforts of the resistance forces purely because of their overwhelming army. The reason being that there are forty-five Chinese soldiers for each American soldier and approximately seventy Chinese soldiers for each Japanese soldier.
It is here in the vast lands of Russia that the Chinese planned to test their first prototype of “Pandora X”. On September 16th 2040 the Chinese conduct their first live test, the results are lower than expected with a sixty-eight percent ratio of efficiency the Chinese scientists and engineers start working on improvements immediately. By April 9th 2041 they conduct a second live test this time achieving a hundred percent efficiency obliterating well over twenty percent of Russia’s land mass with a mere prototype ten times smaller than the final product. On November 28th 2041 despite the many efforts of the resistance forces and their allies, “The People’s Army of China” annihilates the entire continental U.S. leading to the surrender of the Japanese and any remaining forces signaling the beginning of a new world order where the Chinese reign as masters of the planet.
FF HW1: Backstory
MAGNE-SONIC PROJECTILES
Towards the last years of World War II Emperor Hirohito of Japan orders the Imperial Navy to initiate explorations in certain areas of the Pacific well known for mysterious and unexplainable events, from battleships disappearing to pilots reporting strange sightings. There was no doubt that paranormal phenomena plagued these remote locations.
One of the few surviving ships and crew that lived to tell the story after the exploration of these areas began was the battleship Yamato. The most significant aspect of their story is that not only did they survive their collective experience but they were able to bring with them evidence that supports their incredible experience. The Imperial Navy upon their return to Japan interviewed all of the surviving men rigorously and they didn’t find any discrepancies when it came to the crew’s recollection of events.
According to their story they found an Island in the Pacific Ocean that doesn’t appear in any of the maps pertaining to this area up to date. The story says that they began exploring the island and shortly after their arrival the men encounter what it appears to be based on their description what we know today as a battle-mech.
The exploration crew soon realized they were faced against an unknown enemy with far superior technology and weaponry. Despite their efforts to capture the mechanized creature they were defeated and force to evacuate the island or face total annihilation. Out of this encounter some crewmen were able to retrieve one of the machine’s projectiles from battle. The projectile consists of two oval shaped projectiles made out of some metal-rock magnetic alloy fired together at the same time but from separate adjacent barrels and the result is a non-lethal sonic projectile meant to render men unconscious generating sounds at different levels as both magnets resonate while they travel at incredible speeds through space.
Unfortunately the island was never to be found again but their story endured the test of time igniting in the Japanese a fascination for robots that today is palpably alive through their popular culture and what the soldiers brought back represented a well of knowledge that after being studied inspire many technologies that use magnetic fields. An example of this is Japan’s development of the monorail magnetic system for their bullet trains or Shinkansen.
